Curveball Mastery Results

"Phil, I bought your Curveball Program for my son's birthday, who turned 13 one month ago. He was a straight fastball/change-up pitcher with very good velocity in 13U travel ball last season; but he really needed a moving pitch. I expected this to be a long learning process, but he has advanced much quicker than I expected.

Attached is video of him throwing a curveball in a game (yesterday) for the first time, for strike three.

I am amazed with how quickly he picked up the motion and was able to use a curveball against batters in a real game in less than one month.  This has really changed his game.

Thank you,
Dennis Colleran"

Phil, Here is an updated video of Dennis throwing a curveball in high school. This pitch will get most 15-16 year olds. He has become a fastball/curveball pitcher with changeup as third pitch. He continues to use your programs.

His fastball is in the mid-80s with a max of 88 mph in game (measured at the 15U Perfect Game BCS National Championships), but the Curveball is the pitch that is the most fun to watch.

He still 14 years old and has a lot to learn; but, he is enjoying a very good year in both HS and Travel Ball.

Thanks for everything.
Dennis"

I’ve known Phil for 20 years, and I can’t think of anyone better suited to teach young pitchers about the curveball than Phil. Not only did he have a great curve himself, but his passion for teaching aspiring ballplayers how to pitch both safely and effectively is second to none.

Over my years as a player and a coach there are very few guys I have been around who understand pitching as well as Phil Rosengren, and can also teach complex concepts in a very clear and precise way.  Phil’s curveball program is one that I would recommend to anyone who is trying to master a very difficult pitch.  There is no doubt in my mind that taking the time to invest in developing a nasty breaking ball will translate to more success on the mound, and Rosey has come up with a system that is sure to help players with all ability levels.  The concepts that are used in Curveball Mastery are the same ones we use in our program!

First off, Phil Rosengren is one of the better people in the baseball coaching world today. The fact that he is spot on with the way he coaches pitchers serves to make him and his material some of the more unique and better stuff out there. Phil’s information is accurate and delivered in an easy to understand and implement fashion. I’d trust him with any of my pitchers  – and also my son!

I first met Phil while catching for him and was blown away by his talent and overall knowledge of the game and pitching. He is one of the best and brightest pitching coaches I’ve been around or have seen anywhere. Phil will teach you the correct way to throw one of the toughest pitches to master while doing it safely. I would without a doubt recommend Phil’s new Curveball Training Program for anyone looking for the best teaching out there.

I have pitched a lot including a brief stint with the Chicago Cubs so I know the difference between good and poor instruction. I really believe your approach is one of the best I’ve seen. Your teaching about how to throw a curveball is dead on. I wouldn’t change a thing and I’m already having him learn how to grip the ball and get the proper rotation.
